Bobby Sundby completed his Commercial Real Estate Investment courses in Atlanta, Denver, and Minneapolis. He received his CCIM designation, similar to a Master's degree, in Commercial Real Estate in 2020. Only 1% of licensed real estate agents in South Dakota have this designation. He has a B.A. Degree in Business Administration and also Health/Hospital Services, Magna Cum Laude, from Augustana University and has been a Realtor at SUN REAL ESTATE since 1994.
Bobby and the SUNBEE team have helped countless sellers and buyers at the highest level of service over the years as "A Top Team for Decades". John Sundby, Bobby's father, started the Sundby Real Estate Legacy after his time as a USAF B-25 and H21 helicopter pilot, as well as starting the helicopter rides over Mount Rushmore. John's legacy in the business will not soon be forgotten and the remaining family, wife Kathy, son Bobby and their team carry on with his honorable style of "helping people -any way you can".
Bobby's wife, Genae, has a Doctorate and is an MAI Appraiser, doing commercial appraisals in South Dakota. Bobby and Genae have two children, Parker and Sammi. Parker is completing his education at Berklee College of Music and Sammi is a scholarship track athlete at Augustana University.
Bobby was raised in Rapid City, loves the area, and was the 2018 President of the Board for South Dakota Children's Home Society as well as Chairman of the Finance and Executive Committees. The Sundby family plays hard as well as works hard. Bobby is a certified PSIA ski instructor and plays guitar and drums in local bands and worship teams, having opened directly for bands such as Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Night Ranger and Blood Sweat & Tears.
