Chad Lewis is a seasoned real estate professional and builder with more than 20 years of experience in development and residential sales across the Black Hills. A lifelong resident of Rapid City, Chad recently joined SUN REAL ESTATE as a Broker Associate, where he brings deep industry knowledge, a strong network, and a personal commitment to service.

• Builder & Developer (2002–present): Chad began his career in construction and land development, gaining firsthand experience in all phases of homebuilding—from site planning to final sale.
• Licensed Realtor (since 2012): After earning his real estate license, Chad  has helped his clients buy, sell, and build homes in the greater Rapid City area.
• 2025 – Present: Chad joins SUN REAL ESTATE, Rapid City’s oldest brokerage, aligning his values of integrity and community-first service with a team known for generational trust.

Chad has long been active in civic leadership and youth sports, having served:

• As a Rapid City Alderman (Ward 3) and Vice President of the City Council
• On the Civic Center Board, helping to shape citywide entertainment and development decisions
• As a board member and volunteer for organizations like Black Hills Rapids Soccer and the Black Hills Ski Team

Chad is passionate about building stronger neighborhoods—not just through real estate, but through meaningful community investment.

Chad is a graduate of Stevens High School and the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, where he developed the problem-solving and project management skills that guide his work to this day.

He is also a proud father of three—Dmitri, Sophia, and Vladimir—and considers being a dad his most important role. Whether coaching youth sports or helping a family find the right home, Chad is known for his steady leadership, honest counsel, and dedication to the Rapid City community.
